This home is located in the Madison River Valley in Ennis, Montana, the location with the best trout fishing in North America. The homeowners decided to build a separate sleeping house for all friends, adult children and grandchildren who visit and enjoy the spectacular natural beauty and sporting activities in the area. The bunkhouse designed by Studio Architects is a cozy 1,600 square meter bunkhouse with three bedrooms and bathrooms, a living area and a beautiful rustic kitchen that is perfect for breakfast and lunch. The two Texan couples who own the property love to entertain family and friends, and the guest house / bunkhouse allows them to do so without anyone compromising privacy or comfort.
The bunkhouse has a true farmhouse and rustic style so you feel like you are on a ranch right away. Lots of wood, some metal and bright art and objects make the house look very cozy and very inviting. The casual style of the room with its natural slate floor and the indispensable bench for taking off your boots is evident from the entrance. The interior design and furnishings, managed by Carter Kay Interiors, are inspired by a specific painting of a fly fisherman. The colors of the painting form the palette for the decor throughout the bedroom: blue, green and khaki tones. All decor and furniture are inspired by ranches, horses, cows and in a rustic style and are made of wood, rattan, leather, cowhide and plywood. Each bedroom has its own access to the outside so that everyone can leave the house whenever they want.
