We all know and love the sculptural lightbulbs that Plumen makes, and now the designer lightbulbs have an exclusive 3D printed shade called Kayan to live in. Plumen partnered with Italian 3D printing brand Formaliz3d to create a bespoke shade that compliments the curvy silhouettes of the Plumen lightbulbs. The gently sloping sides of the shade reinforce the organic outlines of the Baby Plumen 001 and Original Plumen 002 bulbs and allow light to escape through the pierced sides. The design allows the shape of the lightbulb to be seen through the shadow while also casting unique shadows in the space in which it is displayed.
