We told you about cool clothes racks recently, and here’s a more amazing piece that wasn’t included – it’s Tilia by Krakow designer Alicja Prussakowska. As a double coat stand, it offers storage space for outerwear and seating in the hallway. Curved hooks on the ends of the pine lengths are placed at different heights to hold coats and accessories. The white lacquered MDF base offers storage space for shoes and space for clothes. Each length of pine was shaped using traditional wood bending techniques with the hooks cut into one end by hand with a chisel. Tilia is a free-standing piece of furniture that was designed for flexible use in the hallway of a single-family home.
