Dynamic Float Table Inspired by The Rubiks Cube

Rubik’s Cube is a 3-D combination puzzle that was invented in 1974 by the Hungarian sculptor and architecture professor Ernő Rubik. I think a lot of us have tried this puzzle. This cube also inspired many designers to create various pieces and RPR Studio is no exception. The table they created is called the Float Table and it really looks like the Rubik’s Cube. It is made of cubic blocks of wood that are held in balance by a system of tensile steel cables. Thanks to this, the cubes just seem to float and defy all principles of physics. The table looks rigid and stable when you touch it – it reveals the secret of Float’s dynamic character.
