The Niobrara chair was designed by Erickson Woodworking, a father and son company based in Nevada City, California. What is special about this piece? It’s made to measure, just like your own suit from a tailor. Not only do customers choose wood and upholstery, a variety of customer measurements give a more accurate fit than three sizes can provide, and this is about as far from factory production as it gets: the Erickson harvest, grind and much of it dry the wood they use themselves. It takes you 60 hours to make a chair and believe me, there just can’t be a more personal piece!
