Life Chest Of Drawers Made Of A Centuries Old Oak Tree

Zagreb-based designer Hrvoje Vulama created “Life”, an original chest of drawers made from centuries-old oak. Most of the treatment has been reduced to handwork as the designer handcrafted all of the twists and turns of the wood to achieve a smooth finish. Connections at the corners Cabinets are hand cut and “dovetailed” to ensure strength and durability, but also as a statement that highlights the traditional mix. The chest is coated with a mixture of beeswax, flaxseed and tung oil.
