Lunar eclipses inspired Ferréol Babin to create a Lunaire wall lamp for FontanaArte, Italy. The lamp has a surprising light effect that is reminiscent of the lunar eclipses when it fades into the shadows of the earth. how is it done? A smaller front pane with the light source is located in a large concave aluminum diffuser. Depending on how the small disc is positioned in relation to the diffuser, two different effects are possible: Backlighting when the front window is closed. Simply pulling or pushing the rod on the front of the disc instantly changes the lighting effect. The design is minimalist and very stylish: black and white always look good together and are suitable for many rooms.
