Aran Construction built this modern home called the Greentree Residence in East Hampton, NY. The architecture and décor are inspired by mid-century constructions, and the designers showed the impeccable taste of art and furniture.
The living room, dining room and kitchen are connected to form an open, light-flooded room. All cabinets are white, which reflects the light and makes the room more inviting. Light marble floors and a white ceiling create an amazing backdrop. The use of light, warm woods is very reminiscent of mid-century interiors. The upholstered furniture is also screaming mid-century, and amazing gold pendants and the Saarinen dining set are the main items in the kitchen area.
The living room is divided into parts by a large stone fireplace wall. The second part looks very warm, cozy and inviting, with warm woods, green and yellow textiles and lots of bookshelves that make it an almost small library.
Another room is kept in calm colors: dove gray and blue. Comfortable furniture, a fluffy rug, and some pop-art-inspired details make it a cool and welcoming space. Oversized windows on two walls and an outdoor door let in lots of light and offer breathtaking views.
The bathroom is completely open, there is a glass shower cubicle with a wall for storage and some privacy. Such a decor makes it possible to enjoy the view and have the feeling of having a shower outside.
Outside there is everything you need to relax: an outdoor kitchen, an outdoor dining area, a pool and a terrace with lounge chairs for sunbathing. This is heaven!
