This coat rack by the German designers Christine Herold and Katharina Ganz looks like birds sitting on a power line. It’s Birds in a Row wardrobe with pointed, cone-like birch hooks that are attached to a coated aluminum rail. The hooks can be rotated around the rail and positioned so that they point at a 45 degree angle to each side. They rest on a ridge that runs along the bottom of the bar, preventing them from swinging too far. The detachable and adjustable hooks mean that the wardrobe can be used from both sides, and the large, beak-like shapes can also be used to store hats, umbrellas and bags. There are two versions: one that hangs from the ceiling and one that is supported by wooden legs.
