Small And Elegant Powder Room Design

Stephanie Marsh Fillbrant from the Marsh & Clark Design Studio designed this small and elegant guest toilet. Despite the size, it becomes an airy and artful space full of exceptional craftsmanship. The classic composition of the room is anchored by an exquisite marble and limestone mosaic that unfolds the subtly reflective, light blue Venetian plaster walls. This thoroughly modern interpretation of an ancient art form is emphasized by a cantilevered vanity that subtly suggests the destroyed forms of ancient Greek post and lintel architecture. There is also another local artisan work in the room – a stunning portrait window. It combines classic stained glass manufacturing techniques with a modern design. The afternoon sunlight makes this powder room unforgettable.
