Unusual Big Boss Desk Of Metal Wood And Leather

This desk is very unusual, it was inspired by the cantilever principle – it is Piergil Fourquié’s Big Boss desk with a lacquered metal skirt that provides a solid volume “on which the entire desk hangs”. The main contrast is the hanging top made of light oak that protrudes over an empty room. The choice of materials is reminiscent of a sports coupé: the metallic exterior reflects the immediate surroundings and hides the user’s legs, while the inner leather forms a warm protective cocoon. The elegance of the desk would hide all the cables, wires and a drawer for some personal items very well. A very unusual piece!
