Mike Pompeo is an American politician and businessman who served as the Secretary of State under President Donald Trump from 2018 to 2021. After practicing law for a few years, Pompeo co-founded Thayer Aerospace, an aerospace manufacturing company. Pompeo is known for his conservative political views and strong stance on foreign policy issues, particularly regarding Iran and China. He has been a vocal critic of the Iran nuclear deal and has supported tough sanctions on Iran.
