Apartment Shabby Chic Furniture

This 150 m2 house, which was uninhabited for some time in Barcelona, ​​was then renovated and completely rebuilt by Bárbara Aurell, interior architect and designer at Espacio en blanco. The house got personality and lots of light, it got lively and catchy.

The apartment has been kept in white, which makes every room feel airier and bigger, but this is not boring white, it is varied with patterns and interesting furniture, mostly shabby chic and vintage. The living room with a home office corner is decorated in white and has plenty of natural light. There is eclectic furniture with colorful accents and bookshelves along the length of the wall. Some vintage and shabby chic items make the room more eye-catching and bold and bring life to life.

The kitchen also has lots of white and there is mosaic black and white tile floors as well as white subway tiles throughout the room, it’s very trendy now. A kitchen island is shown with a bar counter with a wooden worktop, there are pendant lights and colorful kettles. Large bookshelves take up almost two walls and are used to store dishes and plants in pots. A small dining area is half open to the kitchen and has a round table, mismatched chairs, and a vintage mirror in a frame.

The master bedroom features a large bed with lots of lace pillows and is enlivened with vintage bedside tables and a quirky piece of art over the bed. The bathroom is clad in various types of black and white tiles and accented with brass details for an elegant feel.
