Modern designers find more and more inspiration in nature. Adriano Rachele was inspired by one of those head-scratching phenomena in nature – these crystals that somehow grow out of rocks. He then translated this idea into contemporary lighting fixtures through dozens of facets that play with the light.
The Drusa luminaires developed for SLAMP are made of Lentiflex®, which is provided with a velvet print that creates a kaleidoscope effect when the light hits its many surfaces. The fixtures are equipped with a central light source that reaches each of the surfaces and angles differently, which in turn adds dynamic depth and texture. The pieces create harmony between light and form.
Drusa, which resembles a diamond, is available in suspension and ceiling versions and, with its infinite colors, gives any room a fresh, trendy feel.
