Fun Functional And Versatile Dollhouse Chair

Koichi Suzuno and Alicja Strzyzynska from Torafu Architects have designed a very original, functional and versatile piece of furniture: it is a child seat that divides in half to reveal a doll’s house inside. The lacquered white beech plywood chair is split vertically and the hinges open to reveal a small space on each side. The chair’s sloping armrests become roof gables, while the split hollow seat offers four slats for placing tiny furniture. Divided in the middle, the chair shows the shape of a house with a red gable roof. Children can play with their toys and store them with other small items by closing the chair when play time is up. I am sure your children will be happy and you will save a lot of space!
