Minimalist And Airy White Loft From A Forge

An old country smithy in Poland can turn into a stunning minimalist loft, and designer Jacek Kolasinski proved it. I love a lot of white everywhere: it makes the house airy and reflects and invites the light. Original beamed brick walls and ceilings were left in place, but to make them look softer, designers painted them white. The floors are white too and so cozy. The furniture was made of warm natural wood – partly renovated and partly left unchanged, which gave the room a warmer feeling. The work and cooking surfaces are mostly made of steel – this is a minimal mood. There are also light Scandinavian accents: fur wraps, greenery, and furniture.
