‘Genius Loci’ by Valcucine was inspired by the secretary and is a wall or island kitchen with clever drawers made of handcrafted details and eye-catching materials. The drawer is available in two versions. The first is angled and protrudes slightly outward at the bottom, creating a handle and reflecting light in a way that highlights the tactile material surfaces and handcrafted elements. The other is more minimalist and fits flush with the kitchen doors. It has a slimmer worktop and a lower plinth height, which has resulted in more spacious sub-units and at least 15% more storage space in the interior. The new range of drawers can be customized using a range of different crafting techniques and a range of finishes such as copper or antique brass.
