Natural Yet Minimalist Milano Study Light

The LED lamp in ‘Milano Study’ is directed towards the wooden surface and shines warm and atmospheric. The young designers from Politecnico di Milano, Alessandro Grasso, Alexandra Lunardi, Sara Flamigni and Emanuele Colzani say that their work was inspired by the organic, natural forms – like leaves, flowers, water droplets. For this reason, the material used is bent and shaped thin ash veneer. It is a material that occurs in nature and yet is very flexible. The thickness of the veneer needs to be very precise to achieve the correct radius. The solid wood base is also made of ash. The lamp combines minimalist design with a natural material is a very cool and unexpected way.
