Scandinavian Furniture With Giant Bold Cross Stitches

Copenhagen-based designer Ellinor Ericsson created a range of furniture using giant cross stitch patterns, and each piece looks very eye-catching. I just love them! Ellinor compared Nordic furniture to that of Rococo, trying to strike a balance between the two styles using Nordic materials and rococo shapes. The cross stitches are made of wool and woven into a braided birch frame. So the ornament was inspired by the Rococo, but made in a Scandinavian way. It’s an amazing combination. Such furniture looks great in both children’s and adult rooms. It’s a cool idea to put an accent and add a bit of humor to the room. Every chair and every sofa is so cute, fun, soft and stylishly colorful that I can just admire it!
