Create + Think Design Studio’s A’tolan House is located on Taiwan’s east coast overlooking the Pacific Ocean and seamlessly integrates organic elements into contemporary design in this innovative oceanfront home. The three levels of the property follow the shape of the coast and gradually descend towards the sea. A living roof with various types of plants serves as a hiking plateau and lounge deck. With floor-to-ceiling glass openings in almost every room, an optimal relationship between inside and outside was achieved throughout. From the pool deck, the outdoor dining area next to the open foyer and the multi-purpose terrace you can enjoy breathtaking views of the sea.
