The nightly silhouettes of the roofs of the Middle East were the inspiration for Siba Sahabi’s new collection of felt lamps. The collection is called Sherazade, in honor of the famous Persian character and storyteller from The Arabian Nights. This character had a huge impact on western culture. The beautiful series consists of three lamps made of wrapped colored felt strips, which are coated on both sides with a layer of color. The metallic color increases the reflection of the light, and although the lamps are made of felt, they look like metallic lamps. These pieces are great for any modern interior and add a charming eastern touch to the look.
